Block printed quilts: your questions answered
What is a block printed quilt?
A block printed quilt is printed by hand using carved wooden blocks. Each colour has its own block, pressed onto the cotton one impression at a time, so every quilt has small variations that machine printing can't copy.
Are cotton quilts good for hot sleepers?
Yes. Our quilts are filled with hand-fluffed natural cotton rather than synthetic fibre, so they breathe and don't trap heat. They're light enough for warm Australian nights and easy to layer in cooler months.
What sizes do your quilts come in?

How do I wash a block printed quilt?
Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with a small amount of mild liquid detergent. Line dry in the shade or tumble dry on low. The colours soften gently over time, and the cotton gets softer with every wash.
