Hand block printing involves pressing a carved wooden block onto fabric one repeat at a time, rather than running the fabric through a printing machine. Every press comes out slightly differently, which is where the small irregularities in the pattern come from. That’s not a flaw. It’s part of its personality.

Our block-printed quilts and cushion covers are made using organic cotton. Our quilts also contain organic cotton filling rather than synthetic fill.

Agasti quilts are made with organic cotton fabric and organic cotton filling. Each quilt is constructed using three layers of cotton and hand block printed in Jaipur.

Yes. Cotton is breathable, and Agasti’s lightweight layered quilts work particularly well as summer bedding or as an additional layer throughout the year.

Agasti quilts can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cold setting. Air dry and never tumble dry.

Agasti cushion covers are available in two sizes: 55 × 55cm square cushions and 60 × 40cm lumbar cushions.

A lumbar cushion is a rectangular cushion designed to provide a different shape and scale when styling a bed, sofa or armchair. Agasti lumbar cushions measure 60 × 40cm and can be styled alone or layered with larger 55 × 55cm square cushions.

Agasti cushion covers can be purchased as a cover only or with an insert where available. Select your preferred option on the product page before adding it to your cart.
