Quilts — Machine Wash

Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water (30°C or below) with a mild detergent. Our quilts are made from high-quality natural cotton, tightly stitched and dyed with azo-free, non-toxic dyes — so they wash well and colours stay true.

Drying your quilt

Air drying is always best. Hang on a quilt rack or a clothesline in the sun — sunlight naturally removes moisture, kills germs, and keeps your quilt fresh between washes. If you use a dryer, keep it on a low heat setting and check it regularly.

Between washes

Air your quilt in sunlight every few months. We recommend washing at least twice a year.

Storing your quilt

The best place to store a quilt is simply on a bed — flat, dry, and ready to use. If you need to pack it away, air it thoroughly first, fold gently, and store in the cotton quilt bag included with your purchase. Take it out a couple of times a year and refold it differently to prevent deep creases in the filling.

Cushion Covers

Embroidered cushion covers — spot clean only

Please do not machine wash or hand wash embroidered cushion covers. The embroidery is delicate and will be damaged by either method. Spot clean gently with a damp cloth as needed.

Hand block-printed cushion covers

Machine wash and tumble dry as normal.
