Design Inspiration

Across continents and civilisations, plants and jungles have always held a special place in human life. People in India believe the goddess of the forest, Aranyani, guards the sacred groves and jungles.

This quilt was inspired by the plants and scrubs that form the basis of a forest. Forests are considered to be the home of female energy and are believed to function under the protective control of female spirits.

Just like forests, our homes function under the love and care of our wonderful women.

This quilt is dedicated to the modern Aranyanis, who strive hard each and every day to make our home a place we love.

Care Instructions

Our quilts are machine washable. They are tightly stitched, so they are strong and won't get damaged easily. They don't bleed colour either. Please use delicate settings while using washing machines. Packaging - A cotton quilt bag that can be used to store the quilt during the off-season. We also use a bio-degradable poly mailer to send our products.

I ordered the Aranyani quilt and Seep cushion cover for my toddler, who is about to transition to her big girl bed. I wanted something she would treasure forever, and this quilt is exactly that. It's absolutely beautiful; it's so soft and even smells good! And I love the patterns of the quilt and cushion cover - so different to anything else I've seen, for adults and children alike. When I placed the order, Saranya emailed me personally with a lovely message and the tracking number. Then, when there was a shipping delay due to flooding on the east coast (I'm in Perth), she emailed me again to keep me updated on the progress of my order. Such a lovely product and shopping experience. Highly recommended.
